As attached to my laptop as I am, there are times when my computer is not easily accessible or I don’t have an internet connection. In times like these, there are several iPhone apps that I use to keep up with all the various communications that I have in my day-to-day business upkeep.
- Encamp: this app connects me to my Basecamp projects on the go. I can check my milestones, to dos, message clients – the works!
- NetNewsWire: this app syncs with my Google Reader account so that I can catch up on blogs when I have a spare minute. Even free time feels productive.
- MiniBooks: I have access to all my FreshBooks invoicing tools as well as a really great time tracker that syncs with my online account. This is especially helpful when the work I am do is billable, but it’s not necessarily planted in front of the computer.
- Mint.com: I have both a personal account and a business account on Mint.com, so I can know my financial status in an instant. When I’m contemplating a purchase, this app comes in particularly helpful.
I’m always up for learning about new, helpful iPhone apps. What do you use?
